AYLESBURY under 17’s have finished top of Division 2 in the OBB league after Sunday’s thrilling win over Abingdon RFC, 23 – 7, to secure a bonus point and the top spot in the division with 29 points.Aylesbury played a total of 7 games, losing the first game of the season before going on to win the remaining 6, with 215 points for and only 46 against. Help was at hand from Aylesbury’s under 16’s who helped bolster the squad and acquitted themselves with distinction, especially Big Eric, so a big thanks to you guys.
The results were as follows:
ARFC V Chinnor win 39 - 7
ARFC V High Wycombe win 70 – 0
ARFC V Oxford win 38 – 5
ARFC V Reading win 27 – 7
ARFC V Abingdon win 23 – 7
ARFC V Maidenhead win 11 – 7
ARFC V Bracknell loss 12 – 15
The boys now move on to the play off’s against Div 1 sides, starting this Sunday with a local Derby game V Amersham & Chiltern, which will determine, in which competition the A’s will contest at the national level.If you are around next SUNDAY look out for us, and cheer us on!!
