Hi All.
Just a quick note to say well done to all those that played for the 2nds this weekend against MK. We went away against the league winners with one sub and players not in their usual positions. I think a few injuries were sustained on and off the ball in a very hard fought game. Our own errors and missed tackles gifted them a win in the end, but we gave a good account ourselves straight from the start. Daniel Cottingham-Boss (Sorry if spelt wrong mate) dominated the line outs. Aylesbury had control of the scrums giving our backs plenty of ball to play with. Dammos hooking and throwing was spot on with only one ‘Not straight’ call for the whole game and stealing a couple against the head. We had plenty of scoring opportunities. One which No.10 Simon will want to forget! We ended the season with a well worked score in the last minutes of the game. Final score MK 27 – A’s 17. Final standing 5th in the league. We all know we were capable of being top of the league! If anyone wants to write a proper report, then please feel free. I was a bit dazed for some of the game! Not sure who scored what. I do remember getting punched off the ball and being taken out in the air! Anyway well done all.
